The queen of Hoysala, Shantala, This is the Chennakeshava temple's most well-known sculpture. The renowned Hoysala King Vishnuvardhana of Dwarasamudra had Shantala as his principal consort. Shantala Devi was the pinnacle of beauty, and her grace served as an inspiration to sculptors. As a result, elaborate carvings were made, and every sculpture features a Bharatanatyam attitude.
